ARTIST STATEMENT

"Fictional worlds have an amazing ability to transport an individual away from reality. Whether it be written, painted, or spoken, the imaginary characters and environments start to take on their own life and can provide an influence on people. The characters that started as a simple idea begin to feel real, almost like a childhood friend, and it's as if their world merges with our own. Growing up I’ve always loved stories of characters on a journey to develop their powers and strengths to defeat the evil within the world, and so I aim to create a world and characters of my own who can bring the same excitement and interest to others"
